ABOUT THE LIBRARY |

This on-line gymnastics library provides easy to access video of over 460 gymnastics skills/skill variations, performed by up to five different gymnasts. Gymnasts will find a treasure chest of ideas at their fingertips. The gymnastics library will spark ideas for arranging unique routines, and can help gymnasts with the visualization of skill execution. In addition, the library provides video clips of the same skills performed in combination with other skills. The video library can be used by coaches and judges as a demonstration tool. Comparing a skill as performed by more than one gymnast provides a great alternative for the evaluation of technique, execution and amplitude. All video and gymnastics tips included in this library were donated to our project by organizations dedicated to the amateur sport of gymnastics allowing us to provide this library to you for free. We are dearly grateful to the organizations who have supported our vision. We are still looking for video and still photographs to add to our library. This library is dedicated to all the young girls who find their strength in the gym; to the fathers who build balance beams out of 2x4’s and shag carpet (thanks Dad!); to the mothers who measure and mark the floor exercise in the back yard (thanks Mom!); and the coaches, officials, judges, etc. that continue to support the dreams of young girls. |
